Thin abrasive materials (0.2 – 1.5 mm) are lightweight or thin-gauge materials containing abrasive fibers, mineral fillers, coatings, or reinforced surfaces that accelerate blade wear during cutting.
For optimal cutting quality and extended blade life, DLC-coated blades are strongly recommended. DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating reduces friction, improves wear resistance, minimizes adhesive buildup, and provides smoother cutting performance.
