Utility blades

The utility blade is also known as ‘Stanley’ blade. This shape however is also used for slitting applications and other industrial use. It can be delivered in ‘normal’ stainless steel and in High Speed Steel (HSS).

One of the main advantages is that this shape of blade is readily available everywhere, even with Tin coated edges.

The HSS version is very tough and resistant against high forces applied in operations. The high speed steel will also extend blade life compared to normal steels, it is relatively soft.
