Description

The XK-SR1400 is a premium slotted industrial razor blade manufactured from micro-grain tungsten carbide (88% tungsten carbide / 12% cobalt) for demanding slitting and converting applications.

With dimensions of 57 × 18.8 × 0.40 mm, the blade provides excellent rigidity, exceptional wear resistance, and long service life. The precision-ground double cutting edges deliver clean, burr-free cuts while minimizing blade changes and production downtime.

The slotted mounting hole ensures accurate positioning and secure clamping in industrial slitter-rewinder systems, providing excellent cutting stability at high operating speeds. Slotted razor blades are widely used for converting flexible materials such as plastic films, foils, paper, laminates, textiles, rubber, and technical fabrics.

In the United States and Canada, this blade format is also commonly referred to as a carpet blade because it fits many professional carpet knives used by flooring installers. While the geometry is the same, the XK-SR1400 is manufactured from premium tungsten carbide, offering substantially longer service life than conventional steel carpet blades.
