Description
The XK-DL4301 is a premium 3-hole double edge long slitter blade manufactured from high-quality hardened carbon steel and enhanced with a durable Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating for superior performance in demanding slitting and converting applications.
Measuring 60 × 22 × 0.30 mm, the blade offers increased rigidity compared to thinner versions, making it particularly suitable for medium to heavy-duty slitting operations where blade stability is essential for maintaining precise, burr-free cuts. The 60 mm blade length also provides a larger usable cutting edge than conventional 43 mm razor blades, allowing the blade to be repositioned during use and extending overall service life. This blade style is widely used throughout the converting and textile industries.
The TiN coating significantly increases surface hardness while reducing friction between the blade and the material being processed. This improves wear resistance, extends edge life, and reduces blade changes, particularly when processing abrasive materials such as coated papers, laminates, technical textiles, and filled plastic films. TiN-coated blades are recognized for increasing productivity by reducing downtime and lowering the overall cost per cut.
The precision-ground double cutting edges provide clean, accurate cuts while allowing both cutting edges to be used, maximizing blade utilization and reducing operating costs.
