The XK-DL4201 is a high-performance 3-hole double edge long slitter blade manufactured from premium hardened carbon steel and enhanced with a durable Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating for extended service life in demanding slitting and converting operations.
With dimensions of 60 × 22 × 0.20 mm, the blade offers an excellent balance between flexibility and rigidity. Compared to the traditional 43 mm industrial razor blade, the longer 60 mm format provides a larger usable cutting edge, allowing the blade to be repositioned during use and increasing overall blade life. This makes long slitter blades a popular choice for continuous converting lines and the textile industry.
The TiN coating forms an extremely hard ceramic surface that increases wear resistance, reduces friction, and helps the cutting edge remain sharp during long production runs. Compared with uncoated carbon steel blades, the XK-DL4201 delivers improved edge retention, smoother cutting performance, and fewer blade changes when processing abrasive materials. TiN-coated blades are particularly effective for slitting films, foils, coated papers, laminates, and technical textiles.
