The XK-FG424 is an industrial fiber chopping blade manufactured from carbon steel and specifically designed for continuous fiberglass strand and roving chopping.
Measuring 248 × 15.6 × 0.85 mm, the XK-FG424 combines an extended 248 mm blade length with a robust 15.6 mm width and 0.85 mm thickness. This geometry provides excellent blade stability within industrial chopping assemblies and helps maintain consistent cutting geometry during continuous high-volume production.
The precision-ground carbon steel cutting edge provides the initial sharpness required for efficient separation of continuous fiberglass strands and fiber bundles. Clean cutting helps maintain consistent chopped strand lengths while reducing unnecessary fiber deformation and fraying.
