Tin stands for Titanium Nitrate. Hardness ranges from 2400-2600 Hv (or more than 80 Rockwell). It does not react with tissue, blood, bones, or bodily fluids, making it suitable for medical, dental and food applications.
Tin coatings on blades are used to extend the product life, improve performance and enhance the appearance of a product. This coating is mainly applied in a thickness of 2 Mu. It leaves golden colour on the edge of the blade.
Tin coating is commonly used on tungsten carbide and stainless steels.
