Description
The XK-FG410 is a high-quality fiber chopping blade manufactured from premium hardened carbon steel for continuous cutting of fiberglass strands and reinforcement fibers used in composite manufacturing.
Measuring 100 × 8 × 0.25 mm, the blade is precision ground to produce clean, consistent cuts while minimizing fiber fraying and dust generation. The extremely sharp carbon steel cutting edge delivers excellent cutting efficiency and consistent chopped strand lengths, helping to improve downstream processing and composite quality.
The XK-FG410 is specifically designed for fiberglass strand chopping systems used in the production of thermoplastic and thermoset composites. It is suitable for cutting continuous glass fiber rovings into precise chopped lengths for applications including injection moulding compounds, sheet moulding compounds (SMC), bulk moulding compounds (BMC), reinforced plastics, and nonwoven glass mats.
Carbon steel is widely used for fiber chopping blades because it can be ground to an exceptionally sharp edge, providing excellent cutting quality and economical operation. Precision manufacturing ensures reliable performance, easy blade replacement, and consistent production quality.
Manufactured in Europe to strict dimensional tolerances, the XK-FG410 delivers dependable performance in high-speed industrial production.
OEM-compatible and private-label versions are available upon request.
