Fiberglass strands are highly abrasive and place extreme demands on cutting tools. Specialized blades are required to maintain sharpness, consistency, and long life under continuous operation.
To meet these challenges, blades are produced from tungsten carbide, HSS (high-speed steel), or carbon steel, offering a balance of hardness, edge retention, and toughness. Resharpening optional.
Applications include:
-
Cutting fiberglass strands and rovings in composite production
-
Textile and technical fiber processing
-
Glass fiber reinforced materials for automotive, aerospace, and construction industries
