The XK-R140TIN is a premium 3-hole double edge industrial razor blade manufactured from 88% tungsten carbide with 12% cobalt binder and protected by a high-performance Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating. Measuring 43 × 22 × 0.40 mm, this is the thickest blade in the XK 43 × 22 mm TiN-coated range, providing maximum rigidity for demanding slitting and converting applications.
The Titanium Nitride coating significantly increases surface hardness and reduces abrasive wear, allowing the blade to remain sharp for longer when processing challenging materials. Combined with the natural wear resistance of tungsten carbide, the TiN coating delivers extended blade life, fewer blade changes, reduced machine downtime and lower operating costs.
